If there’s one way to get the style set talking, it’s by taking them back to the eighties… Guests at Jean Paul Gaultier’s Paris Fashion Week enjoyed a rare treat on Saturday night. Gone was the fashion rigour of the City of Lights, and its place was fourteen pop stars, an archive of inspiration, male dancers and a FROW that included Kiss doppelgängers. The eighties were back! But this wasn't just any old revival of the famed era, the show was ‘based on facts. Any similarity with real events of characters is purely non-coincidental,’ explained by the show notes. Translated into Karlie Kloss as a beautiful Boy George, Jourdan Dunn leading the Sade homage, lashings of Madonna-esque corsetry and of course spangle stars for Bowie it was another memorable show from Fashion's original enfant terrible.
