PFW S/S12: Paul & Joe

By  October 05, 2011

After celebrating their 30th birthday with a blowout bash complete with a live performance from Jamiroquai last season, it was back to business as usual at Paul & Joe. Moving ahead into the new decade and returning to the more modest venue of Trocadero, the brand was fresh and youthful as ever, heading south of the border for inspiration and churning out a fun, easy-to-wear collection rife with Aztec prints, flowing sheer maxis and Navajo beaded and fringed sandals.

Rompers and even a pair of printed overalls made an appearance, striking a kind of Isabel Marant vein, though more reserved and less trend-driven. Army greens and khaki tones gave the whole thing a rather earthy vibe and will make for great summer staples for any girl from laid-back luxe of L.A. all the way across the Atlantic to the chic bastions of Paris.
