NYFW S/S11: Anna Sui

By  September 16, 2010

Sui’s atmospheric, story-book of a show, was accompanied by a strong context this season. This year Sui celebrates her 20th in the industry, and her latest offering didn’t disappoint. Looks were fresh and almost rural in style. There was an almost craft-like dimension to many of the pieces, with cross-stitch and crocheting featuring heavily.

The show was intersected briefly by a burst of more embellished pieces in black. Glam loved the bejewelled head dress and feather trims seen below!

Closing the show Anna Sui went out with a bang. Glam loved this shot of Lily Donaldson wearing one of Spring 2011′s bridal pieces, which echoed the whimsical homespun drama of the previous selection.
