NYFW S/S11: Vera Wang

By  September 16, 2010

From the offset, it was clear that Wang was demonstrating a return to the dark side, with her new collection show casing darker colours and a greater use of clashing textures.

Glam particularly loves this quilted jacked paired with a pinstripe jumpsuit showing a diversion to a more masculine look.

Vera Wang S/S11

Vera Wang's S/S11 collection moved towards a more masculine aesthetic

The addition of this sumo-style belt, continues Wang’s move towards a more masculine aesthetic, coupled with a contrasting colour scheme. The feminine fabric of the shirt is toughened up with a martial-arts inspired cut.

Glam’s final snapshot of the Vera Wang Spring 2011 collection is another of our favourites! The martial-arts trend continues with this rope-style belted top over shorts. Wang maintains her signature feminine style by using draped fabrics.
