Music and Fashion Collide at Fred Butlers SS13 Presentation

Red Bull Studio Creates a New Soundtrack for Fred Butlers SS13 Fashion Film at Somerset House

Famed London Designer Fred Butler has certainly been busy in the run up to this year’s London Fashion Week. Not only has she collaborated with car giant Vauxhall to create a custom design of their latest model, but she’s also turning her hand, or more specifically her ear, to recording a track to accompany her fashion film, set to debut later this month.

Working alongside artist Two Inch Punch, aka producer Ben Ash who has made beats for the likes of Lil’ Wayne and even pioneered his own unique genre of music he calls ‘Lovestep’,  the track will embody the inspirations behind Fred’s colorful creations and will feature vocals from the designer herself.

The collaboration paves the way for designers to enhance their presentations, taking their collections to the next level by marrying fashion and music. The finished track will accompany Fred’s Fashion Film as part of her SS13 presentation at Somerset House on the 17th September.
