MFW S/S12: Marni

By  September 26, 2011

Candy colours and a playful use of fabric made the Marni show a riot of girly colours and summery must-haves. A decidedly Sixties style with A-line shape tunic dresses and psychadelic floral prints modernised with organza underskirts peeking out in both layered skirt shapes and as shorts.

The prim and proper was made sexy with cut out panels, signature Marni accessories were oversized (we love the chandelier earrings and stacked cuffs) and, as usual, we are coveting the handbags.

But, if you buy one piece, make it one of the skirts adorned with white sequin discs or beaded hems, they are a statement that, as always happens, will become a timeless staple.
