MFW A/W11: Fendi

By  February 25, 2011

Steeped in luxury and with Karl Largerfeld at the design helm, the Fendi AW11 collection was ensured to be a winner even before the lights went up. Themed with eccentric England, boiled wool outwear had its heyday along with mustard tights, Mary-Janes, capes and patches of colour.

Playing with colour, Karl used pops of windsor blue and rusty-ruby against browns and greys to interesting effect. But it was the jesting with tradition that really added to the collection; full cuffs created with elasticated sleeves, back-to-front dresses and cropped sleeves.

For those with a penchant for fur should prepare to spend the next 6 months in a state of lust. The most beautiful of coats graced the runway.

Bravo Fendi and Karl of course.
