She’s poised, she’s confident, she’s wearing Bottega Veneta autumn/winter 2011! Showing in Milan, the Italian fashion house has once again proved their worth with a collection fit for chicest female.
Focussing on a palette of bright colours, passionate designs made their way down the runway to the inspiring sounds of François De Roubaix, Serge Gainsbourg and Francis Lai. Notably the silhouette has progressed from spring/summer, taking a single line approach. The results are an unconstrained cool using high-brow aesthetics. This translation of design adventure is one that keeps fashion on it’s toes and one that ensures interest in Tomas Maier’s collections.
In-line with many other collections this season, textures are varied creating depth and intrigue. From waxed leathers to woven wools, the collection spans a multitude of fabrics. As such, the Bottega Veneta woman walks with conviction in her extravagance.
