Paris, the home of the Breton stripe, yummy crepes, baguettes, teeny dogs and now Levi’s! Moving into the City of Light earlier this month, on a sweltering evening we may add, the cult denim brand added even more heat to the capital with the likes of Poppy and Cara Delevigne…

There’s no denying that the most fashionable of wardrobes are stocked with ‘it’ denims, each playing their own role in carefully planned looks. So Levi’s new Paris Flagship store on the famed Champs-Élysées feels like a homecoming for the iconic brand.

Standing proudly on the busy shopping street, Levi’s Paris is only slightly smaller than our airy London Flagship, has been woven with sustainability and undoubtedly boasts that cool vibe that the Parisians do so well (jealous? Us?). Inside all the reclaimed, reused or restored fittings contrast against the washes; Beachwood against indigo, steel against this season’s pretty pastels and popping red against the worn.  Each demanding their own attention, stealing you away from their peers, which in a store stocked to the brim is quite a mean feat.

“The Champs-Élysées flagship is unlike any other Levi’s® store in the world – and we want to keep it that way,” Llse van Alsenoy, Levi’s Women’s Merchandising & Design Director shared. ”Each and every Levi’s® store should be unique. We don’t use a cookie-cutter approach to store design and our flagship stores in particular are aspirational, future looking and showcase where we’re going as a brand. We take the very best of what we have to offer and build on it each time.”

And then there’s the bespoke collection. The product of a cultural hook-up, limited apparel bearing the creative signatures of music’s cool kids Pedro Winter (a.k.a Busy P) from Ed Banger Records and James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem/DFA Records will hit the store – the ultimate in edgy-cool for a post-shopping party at Le Baron.

So next time you’re in the capital make like Cara and Poppy enjoy a date at 76 Champs- Élysées 75008 Paris. But be warned, the clever Levis team have all denim bases covered – credit card alert!
