Last night the stars hit the red carpet in London’s Leicester Square for the UK Premiere of this Christmas’ hotly anticipated masterpiece based on Yann Martel’s novel, Life of Pi.
Academy Award winning director, Ang Lee was out to celebrate with stars Rafe Spall (Prometheus), Irrfan Khan (Slumdog Millionaire), Gérard Depardieu (Last Holiday) and the fabulous newcomer Suraj Sharma.

Deemed to be ‘unfilmable’ the Taiwanese director explained inside the auditorium, “I didn’t think we could make the book into a movie,” he said. “A boy and a tiger adrift in the Pacific… and without Tom Hanks.”
But make it he did – and what a fabulous job! A captivating and exquisite film, Life of Pi is in cinemas 20th December 2012 – a must see!
