LFW S/S12: Todd Lynn

By  September 23, 2011

Canadian born Todd Lynn presented a very dramatic collection for spring/summer 2012. Taking reference from insanity- Cos Sakkas let us into this secret backstage- the Todd Lynn girl has attacked her wardrobe leaving it ripped open and trailing threads.

Appealing to a rock and roll crowd and half of the Glam team, blacks, nudes and a glaucous blue- a definite success- flowed through the collection and working in harmony. But, it was the use of texture that characterised the collection. Tailored jackets sat on top of silk creating an unusual silhouette.

Knitwear hit success on slightly asymmetrical  dresses and jumpers baring flesh through the yarn. You could imagine Mossy pairing such a style with skinnies around town.

As for detailing, safety pins secured jackets and repaired damage after Miss Lynn attacked her closet. This took the collection to the next level.
