Julien MacDonald‘s SS11 collection was held in the Banqueting House, and was a veritable feast of froth, with more frills than you could shake a stick at.
Although perhaps not entirely transferable to the wardrobe of the average woman-about-town, the collection was certainly beautiful to behold, and pulled a strong crowd of admirers. The more wearable items from the collection included a striped jacket made from deck-chair material which Glam loved!
The collection was dreamy and feminine, with sheer floral fabrics and huge hair. MacDonald took inspiration for many of the patterns included in the collection from vintage 20s dresses.
