A dominant landmark on the Hyde Park skyline, The Four Seasons stands regal and proud. A trip to the renovated spa revealed why…
Taking over the entire tenth floor, The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel London is a world away from the capital’s chaos. Flooded with light (especially on the sunny day that Glam visited), this glass-walled haven is a refreshing change from it’s basement counterparts, and welcomes with open arms from the offset. Greeted with a refreshing Pear and Ginger Shot and a comforting hot towel, even the weariest of city guests would struggle not to breathe a sigh of relief upon entrance.
Offering tailored treatments from ESPA, The Organic Pharmacy, Omorovicza, Vaishaly and OPI, the spa menu is a comforting read, but Glam’s visit only had one chapter in mind, massages. There to road-test the Aromatherapy Massage (£105 for 50 mins), we headed to the changing rooms for our indulgence to begin. Now, normally we wouldn’t write home about this but entering the changing area to find Wella Professionals hair products (a Glam hair essential), individual combs and robes that were akin to duvets, we felt a mention was in order.
The Aromatherapy Massage is tailored to specific needs through the choice of ESPA aromatherapy blends. A quick discussion about our current concerns and intentions for the treatment and Glam was set on the ESPA Detoxifying oil – a delicious combination of zesty ingredients – to encourage blood flow and remove toxins (a constant drawback of social city life). Fast-forward to a blissful 50 minutes later with a zesty aroma in the air, we awoke from our massage slumber to stunning park views, feeling a little high on life.
Encouraged to relax post-treatment, Glam swapped the massage couch for an individual relaxation pod complete with the tastiest of treats, notably the yogurt covered orange peel – delicious.
Adding extra value for money and prolonging your unwinding time, the vitality pool, steam rooms and sauna are available for use by all guests.
Glam visited on a weekday evening booked through Wahanda. For the full list of treatments available and bookings visit Wahanda online.
