Leave it to Maison Martin Margiela to come out with yet another crazy shoe style! What do you think … hot or not so much? Rachel Bilson was recently caught sporting these sandal ankle boots. I guess I could see them styled with a cute mini dress for you edgy fashionistas that love taking risks, but for me, I’m going with not so much, I wouldn’t be caught dead in them!
For those who are totally into rocking the sandal boot …

Girls, low riding pants that give people a show they didn’t ask for … not cool! A peek-a-boo thong, not hot … Plumbers crack, let’s leave this one to the experts! If you have ever experienced one of these seriously embarrassing situations, you need to check out the hip-T.
The hip-T is intended to be worn over the top portion of your pants and peep through the bottom portion of your top, creating a cool layered look without all the added layering … nice! You could also, use the hip-T as a cami under a low-cut top or under a zip-up hoodie so you don’t have to throw on a full tee. The hip-T is stretchy, lightweight, super comfy and comes in a wide variety of colors!

Model Bar Refaeli is joining Hurley as a face, voice and spirit of the brand. The 23-year-old Israel-born globetrotter will bring her experience, enthusiasm and charisma to initiatives and events for which she and Hurley share a passion, as well as star in the Young Contemporary campaigns.
The heart, soul, and spirit of Hurley culture is rooted in curiosity toward the world and creativity, which is reflected not only in their apparel, swimwear and accessories, but in innovative artistic endeavors, collaborations, and charitable initiatives such as Warped Tour, Walk the Walk, and Hurley Art Chest.
“Hurley does everything with a lot of genuine heart,” Bar said, “and I love that Hurley’s beach culture lifestyle incorporates fashion and makes it look and feel sexy and effortless. Every time I travel, I pack their pieces so I have the Hurley culture with me wherever I go.”
The Young Contemporary collection is created for young women to integrate Hurley into their wardrobe with her own personal style. Every dress, separate and swimsuit in the collection is interpreted through Hurley’s unique tomboy sexy lens: timeless classics and unexpected fabrics in great fitting silhouettes give the wearer confidence and sex appeal.
Shot in Brazil by David Mushegain, images from Bar’s first campaign for Young Contemporary spring 2009 apparel and swim collections will debut in October.

Frida Kahlo is one of the most influential female artists of the 20th Century. Even though her paintings often expressed sadness, loneliness, despair, sexual confusion, and extreme depression, the end result has been widely accepted and celebrated. Through unimaginable hardships, Frida painted incredible works of art. Her folkloric style was influenced by Mexican popular art, fantastical imagery, and magical realism that incorporated vibrant colors, exotic flowers and animals, elaborate jewelry, and most importantly, herself. I am really influenced by that of Frida’s paintings and artistic career and love to incorporate her different styles into my wardrobe. Check out these finds!
Amazingly enough, The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SF MOMA) is exhibiting Frida Kahlo’s art by commemorating the centennial of this amazing artist’s birth. The exhibit lasts now until September 28th so if you are at all interested get down there now! On display are paintings that span her career, along with a selection of her own collection of personal photographs, most of which have never been on public display!
If you are anything like me, you loved 1965 cult-classic “Get Smart” with the crime fighting dynamic duo Maxwell Smart (Don Adams) and Agent 99 (Barbara Feldman) whose mission was to thwart evil do’ers trying to take over the world!! (MUAAHHAHAAH) If so, then you must be ecstatic to know that this summer the delightful tv show is making its way to the big screen…with a modern twist!
The one thing I am looking forward to (besides the comedic relief of Steve Carell) is the fashion!!! Anne Hathaway WOWed us in “The Devil Wears Prada” and she’s doing it again as Agent 99 the levelheaded, daring, and the oh so sophisticated sidekick whose casual-chic appearance is versatile easily taking her all over the world as a top international spy.
My wardrobe has been waiting for an upgrade and what a better boost than to stock it with a modern take on a 1960’s feel. Get these fabulous finds so that your style can become useful in many undercover operations…

I want nothing more than to get away this summer. Backpacking through Europe, snorkeling in the Caribbean, or zebra spotting on a Safari in Africa. The excitement of going on a safari and mingling with the monkeys, laying around with the lions, and elevating with the elephants (corny I know!) is just too exiting just thinking about! Unfortunately, if you’re like me, you just don’t have the finances to fund your fantastic fun-filled-adventure. So what’s the next best thing?!? Bring all those elements into your wardrobe!! Giraffe prints, chic floppy hats, oversize sunglasses, faux croc detailing, and shoes that are so hot, the Sahara dessert can’t beat em’. Check out these finds!
