Musical new-comer Emeli Sande gave us not one, but two Olympic show-stopping performances during the Closing Ceremony last night. But that wasn’t all. The beautiful vocalist also delivered two very stylish looks…
For her first performance – in which she opened the Olympic Closing Ceremony (go Emeli!) – the young singer chose an opulent skirt by Alexander McQueen, paired with a simple black top, silver jewellery, a dark jacket and boyish Prada brogues.
Returning back to the stage, Sande opted for a striking emerald green dress for her second performance. Featuring a pleated front, the dress was a high-octane fashion choice by 2012’s hottest new act.
Despite Sande’s relaxed demeanour onstage, she was in fact feeling the pressure pre-show:
“Feeling a little nervous before hitting the stage tonight!” Sande Tweeted as she waited in the wings.
As for her beauty look, Sande opted for her signature hair whipped-up on the top of her head, with black winged eyeliner and blushing red lips.
