Hyde Park was awash (quite literally) this weekend with celebrities, musicians and fashionable fans who braved the rain to see their favourite artists in action. Barclaycard Wireless Festival 2012 didn’t stop for the typically British weather, with people coming from far and wide to see acts from Afrojack and Deadmau5 to the likes of Jessie J and Rihanna.
Rihanna only just made in back in time from New York where she had spent the last week mourning the loss of her Grandma so it was great to see her in such good spirits despite the jet lag and the recent funeral.
Highlights of Sunday’s festivities were a surprise visit from Ne-Yo who popped on stage to sing “Tonight” with Pitbull which got the crowds going as well as Jessie J letting one fan on the stage to sing with her.
Celebs in attendance included Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham, who were spotted watching Calvin Harris on the PepsiMax stage and Henry Holland and Nicola Roberts who waited in the Barclaycard VIP lounge before Rihanna came onstage.
