Glam went off-road to go back stage at Moschino, with this season’s collection being set against an industrial backdrop. The only give-away to the frenetic fashion frenzy that was taking place behind the metal gates was a selection of confused looking stylistas wandering down St John’s Road, having escaped the madness of Somerset House in search of fresh fashion fodder.
Once inside, we were given the low down on the inspiration behind the SS/13 looks by head make-up artist Hannah Murray.
Inspiration was taken from the 70’s, with multi-tonal blue eyeliner giving colour and definition to eyes, and a cream based highlighter applied to brighten eyes and give definition.
A 70’s peach coloured cheek was also employed, whilst coverage was kept minimal to keep faces fresh and youthful. Freckles were left exposed, and models looked dewy with luminous skin.
Hair was worn in multiple plaits styled from the crown.
We think that if the hints given back stage are anything to go by, the Frow at Moschino will be in for a treat!
